Nordic PGDay 2027

About Nordic PGDay 2027

Nordic PGDay is a one-day, single-track PostgreSQL conference that moves between the large, well-connected Nordic cities each year. The 2027 edition, the twelfth, takes place in Stockholm on 16 March at the Courtyard Stockholm Kungsholmen hotel, after Helsinki in 2026. It is run by volunteers from the regional Postgres community together with PostgreSQL Europe, the non-profit that also organizes PGConf.EU. The room is a mix of DBAs, application developers and the platform and operations engineers who keep Postgres running, and the call invites talks from users and core developers alike: open source projects built around Postgres, production deployments in large companies, favourite extensions and tooling. Every talk is 45 minutes plus questions and is given in English, since many attendees travel in from abroad. The event is in person only and talks are not recorded, a choice the organizers make to keep tickets cheap, so this is one to attend rather than watch later. Prices include VAT: EUR 150 for a normal ticket, EUR 110 for a pool of 30 early-bird tickets on sale until mid-February, EUR 65 for students and EUR 225 for a supporter ticket, all with lunch, coffee breaks and the evening social. The call for papers opens on 16 November 2026, and accepted speakers attend free.
