About DevOpsDays Atlanta 2027

DevOpsDays Atlanta 2027 runs on 20 and 21 April 2027 at the Historic Academy of Medicine on West Peachtree Street in Midtown, the same venue as the April 2026 edition. Atlanta has hosted DevOpsDays since 2013 and most years since 2016, and it usually gives each edition a theme. For 2027 that theme is "dataSecOps": after a few years in which AI has put heavy pressure on data platforms, the organisers want to bring data governance and data provenance back into the DevOps conversation, alongside the usual delivery and operations topics. The opening keynote comes from Sherrod DeGrippo, a threat intelligence leader at Palo Alto Networks Unit 42 and an Atlanta local. The call for proposals is open on the DevOpsDays pretalx site until 19 January 2027 and takes 30-minute talks and five-minute Ignite talks; open space topics are pitched on the day instead. Organisers say they weigh broad appeal, new local presenters and under-represented voices when choosing talks, and offer coaching to first-time speakers. A good fit for engineers working where security, data and platform teams meet, and for anyone in the Southeast looking for a two-day community conference.
