What is collected
Requests to our server
The site is served by our hosting provider (Cloudflare). Like any web server, it receives the technical details of each request: your IP address, the page requested, the time, your browser's user agent and the referring page. Our hosting provider processes this information to deliver pages and to protect the site against abuse, and keeps it for a limited period under its own policies.
Visit statistics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and see which pages are read. It does not set cookies, does not use local storage, and does not build a profile of you across sites. We see aggregate numbers such as page views by page and by country, not individual visitors.
Email you send us
If you email hello@devopsstage.com, we receive your address and whatever you write. We use it only to reply and to act on your request, such as correcting a listing or removing an archived speaker page. We do not add you to a mailing list.
What is not collected
- There are no user accounts and nothing to sign in to.
- There are no forms on the site.
- We do not set cookies.
- There is no advertising and no third-party tracking.
Files you download
The "Add to calendar" files are plain calendar files with the conference dates, place and links. Downloading one is an ordinary request to our server; the file itself contains no tracking.
Links to other websites
Conference listings link to organizers' websites, call-for-papers platforms and video channels. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which this page does not cover.
Your choices and questions
You can block analytics scripts in your browser and the site will work the same. For any question about your data, or to ask us to delete an email you sent, write to hello@devopsstage.com. If we change what is collected, we will update this page and the date at the top.
