About PGConf.EU 2027
PGConf.EU 2027 is expected in October 2027, but PostgreSQL Europe had not announced the dates or the host city when we checked, so the dates shown are the 2026 edition moved forward 52 weeks to the same weekdays, and are unconfirmed; the 2026 edition in Valencia, from 20 to 23 October, had not yet taken place. PGConf.EU is the main community PostgreSQL conference in Europe, and it moves to a different city every year, usually in a different country: Berlin in 2022, Prague in 2023, Athens in 2024, Riga in 2025 and Valencia in 2026. The format is three days of talks in three parallel tracks, mostly in English, from PostgreSQL internals presented by the people who write the code to case studies from companies and public bodies running it in production, followed by a Community Events Day of summits, unconferences and working groups; in 2026 those included a PostgreSQL on Kubernetes summit and an observability summit. The programme committee received more than 400 submissions for 2026. For reference, 2026 tickets cost €420 for the three main days (early bird €320, students €175) plus €110 for the community day, all including Spanish VAT at 21%. Recorded talks are published on the PostgreSQL Europe YouTube channel and linked from the schedule.
