About Nerdearla Madrid 2027

Nerdearla Madrid returns to La Nave, an innovation centre in the south of Madrid, from 3 to 5 November 2027 for its second Spanish edition. Nerdearla is the free tech conference series produced by Sysarmy, the Argentine sysadmin community, which has run the Buenos Aires event since 2014 and now also holds editions in Santiago and Mexico City. The first Madrid edition took place at the same venue from 13 to 15 November 2025, with three days of talks, workshops and networking, all streamed online as well; the Linux Professional Institute, a sponsor, brought Jon "maddog" Hall. There was no Madrid edition in 2026. Earlier in the year the organisers had pencilled in April 2027, but the official pages now give the November dates. The 2027 speakers, programme and registration have not been published, and no call for papers is open yet. Like the other editions it is a broad festival rather than a DevOps conference: infrastructure, development, data, security and open source share the bill, so DevOps and SRE people should head for the infrastructure and security sessions. Attendance is free, with no paid tiers or exclusive rooms. The organisers have not published an attendance figure for Madrid on its own; the headline numbers on the site cover all four cities together. Talks are in Spanish, and Nerdearla publishes its talks on its YouTube channel.
