About KubeCon + CloudNativeCon North America 2026
KubeCon + CloudNativeCon North America is the CNCF's main conference on the continent and the busiest week of the year for Kubernetes and cloud native people. The 2026 edition returns to the Salt Palace Convention Center in downtown Salt Lake City from 9 to 12 November; the official site expects more than 9,000 attendees from over 2,100 organisations. Monday 9 November is co-located day, with eleven CNCF-hosted events including Platform Engineering Day, Observability Day, ArgoCon, BackstageCon, CiliumCon, FluxCon, OpenTofu Day and Open Source SecurityCon, plus a dozen sponsor-run events off-site. Tuesday to Thursday bring keynotes, the maintainer track, the expo and about 400 sessions across tracks such as platform engineering, observability, security, operations and performance, AI inference and a novice track. ContribFests give you hands-on time with maintainers of projects like Argo CD and OpenTelemetry, and there is no separate Kubernetes Contributor Summit this year: maintainers meet at the CNCF Maintainer Summit on Sunday. The call for proposals closed at the end of May. Keynotes and breakouts are recorded and appear on the CNCF YouTube channel about two weeks later. Go if you run Kubernetes in production or want to influence the projects you depend on.
