Cloud Native Denmark 2026

Cloud Native Denmark is a volunteer-organized, practitioner-focused conference for Kubernetes and cloud-native engineers in the Nordics, and the continuation of the former Kubernetes Community Days Denmark; the organizers dropped the KCD banner in 2025 for logistical reasons but kept the same team and format. The 2026 edition, the fourth counting the KCD years, moves from Aarhus back to Copenhagen, taking over the auditoriums of Scandic Copenhagen near Central Station on 19 and 20 November. Expect two parallel tracks of keynotes, regular sessions, lightning talks and hands-on workshops, plus a sponsor exhibition area. The published schedule leans heavily on platform engineering, observability with OpenTelemetry, Kubernetes security, running AI agents on internal platforms, and a strong digital sovereignty thread, with sessions on US-independent fallback environments, self-hosted PostgreSQL via CloudNativePG and sovereign Kubernetes. Workshops cover Crossplane, OpenTelemetry instrumentation and CloudNativePG. Tickets are sold through Ticketbutler with prices that rise in steps toward the event, VAT included: DKK 1,999 at the standard rate until 10 November and DKK 2,499 afterwards. The organizers report charity donations worth more than DKK 840,000 over the past three years. Talks from the 2025 Aarhus edition are on the Cloud Native Nordics YouTube channel.
