About KCD Provence 2026

KCD Provence is a new Kubernetes Community Day for the south of France, organized by the Cloud Native Provence community group and selected by the CNCF as one of its first-time KCDs for the second half of 2026. It runs as a single day on 10 December 2026 at the Centre des Congrès in Aix-en-Provence, a short trip from Marseille, and is pitched at developers, platform and infrastructure engineers, architects and technical leads who want practical experience reports more than product launches. The call for papers, run on Conference Hall and closed on 13 September, asked for 30-minute talks, 10-minute short talks and 5-minute lightning talks across infrastructure and Kubernetes operations, platform engineering, developer experience, observability, security and supply chain, networking, AI workloads on cloud-native platforms, and community. Sessions are in French and English, so non-French speakers can follow a good share of the programme. CNCF caps first-time KCDs at around two hundred attendees, and the organizers describe a deliberately human-scale format built for conversation. Tickets cost EUR 20 for students, EUR 60 early bird, EUR 100 general admission and EUR 130 late, with group purchases for companies handled by email. No recording plan has been announced.
