KCD Washington DC 2027

KCD Washington DC is a one-day Kubernetes Community Day on Tuesday 13 April 2027, from 9:00 to 19:00 at the American Red Cross Hall of Service on E Street NW, the same venue as the 2024 and 2025 editions. It was originally planned for September 2026 and was moved to this date; people who held September tickets were offered a transfer or a refund. The 2025 edition was billed as the fifth annual KCD in the capital, so this is an established community event. The speaker line-up of about 20 people is already published, with a principal architect from Thoughtworks giving the keynote and engineers from Lyft, Red Hat, Google Cloud, AWS, Broadcom and Guidehouse among the speakers, so there is no open call for proposals. The event is co-located with DC State of the Stack, the rebranded DevOpsDays DC, which makes for a convenient double bill for anyone travelling in. A new sponsor format adds hosted 60-minute interactive workshops. Registration is open on the CNCF community platform, but ticket prices are only visible after logging in. A natural pick for Kubernetes and platform engineers in the DC, Maryland and Virginia area.
