KCD Lima, Peru 2027

KCD Lima 2027 is expected in July, but it had not been announced when we checked, so the date shown is the 2026 edition moved forward 52 weeks to the same weekday, and is unconfirmed; the event has always fallen on a Saturday in July, and the date shown keeps that pattern. Peru's Kubernetes Community Day has run every year since 2024 and has grown quickly: the official site reports more than 850 attendees, 60 speakers and 54 sessions across five tracks at the 2026 edition, which makes it one of the larger KCDs in Latin America. In 2026 the event moved to the UTEC university campus in Barranco after two editions at the Open PUCP innovation centre in San Miguel. The programme is mostly in Spanish, with a fair number of sessions in English, and covers Kubernetes operations, platform engineering, cloud native security, observability and AI workloads, with support from more than a dozen allied local communities. The first edition was free with registration; prices for later editions were not published on the site. Note that KCDs need CNCF approval for each half-year, and the list for the second half of 2027 was not yet public. A strong pick for Andean engineers and Spanish-speaking speakers.
