About KCD Guadalajara 2027
KCD Guadalajara 2027 is expected in April 2027: the CNCF lists it for that month, but the exact day and venue had not been announced when we checked, so the date shown is the 2026 edition moved forward 52 weeks to the same weekday, and is unconfirmed. Recent editions have been held on a Saturday, and the date shown keeps that pattern. Guadalajara hosted Mexico's first Kubernetes Community Day in February 2024, run alongside an open source contribution summit at the University of Guadalajara's CUCEA campus, and has run every year since. The CNCF's recap of the 2025 edition counted more than 200 attendees and over 30 international speakers, and the 2026 programme included speakers from Red Hat, AWS, Nubank and Datadog. Calls for proposals have been bilingual, in Spanish and English, and covered AI and machine learning, application delivery, introductions to cloud native, observability, operations and performance, platform engineering, security, storage and networking, and diversity in open source. Formats range from introductory to advanced talks, plus practical workshops and live demos. Speakers pay their own travel. It is a regular fixture for the cloud native community in western Mexico, and a good stage for Spanish-speaking speakers.
