About Cloud Native Summit Munich 2027

Cloud Native Summit Munich, known as KCD Munich until 2024, is a volunteer-run community conference for developers, platform engineers and other practitioners working with Kubernetes and the CNCF ecosystem in southern Germany. The 2027 edition, which the organizers count as the sixth in Munich, runs on Monday 14 and Tuesday 15 June at smartvillage Bogenhausen near Arabellapark, the same venue as in 2025 and 2026. Expect two days of technical talks, lightning talks, panels and hands-on workshops, some community-run and some led by sponsors, with themes spanning Kubernetes and platform engineering, cloud-native and open source tooling, and a growing AI engineering strand. Like the KCDs it grew out of, the event rules out sales pitches and talks about closed-source products, and it encourages first-time speakers; speakers get free entry but no travel support. The call for speakers is open on Sessionize from 13 September 2026 to 28 February 2027. Early-bird tickets went on sale in mid-October 2026 at EUR 117.81 for individuals and EUR 249 for company-paid attendees, both before VAT. Recordings of the 2026 talks are free to watch on the CNS Munich YouTube channel.
