Conf42 Platform Engineering 2026

Conf42 Platform Engineering 2026 is a free, one-day online conference on Thursday 5 November 2026, part of the Conf42 series of topic-focused virtual events. Every talk is pre-recorded and streams on Conf42's YouTube channel on the day, starting at 17:00 GMT, so you can watch live in the chat or catch up on demand afterwards. This is the fourth platform engineering edition and the first held in November. By mid-October the programme already listed 37 talks in ten groups: AI and agents on the platform, internal developer platforms and developer experience, Kubernetes and cloud native, data and integration platforms, transformation and strategy, delivery and CI/CD, reliability and observability, infrastructure and automation, security and compliance, and scale and performance. Announced speakers come from companies including AWS, Datadog, Coinbase, PayPal, JPMorgan Chase, Electronic Arts, Walmart and Samsung. The call for papers on cfp.ninja stays open until 21 October and asks for practical material such as lessons from running platforms, architecture decisions and postmortems. Talks are in English, and because the format is recorded there is no travel or honorarium for speakers. A low-effort way to sample how large companies run their internal platforms.
