About Conf42 Platform Engineering 2027

Conf42 Platform Engineering 2027 is a free online conference on Thursday 18 November 2027, the fifth platform engineering edition in the Conf42 series. It follows the November 2026 edition, which had more than 37 talks announced a month out, and the 2025 edition, which carried 76 talks across 15 tracks with speakers from AWS, Google, IBM, eBay, Intuit, JPMorgan Chase, Fidelity and General Motors. Expect the same broad scope: internal developer platforms and developer experience, AI and agents running on the platform, Kubernetes and cloud native operations, delivery and CI/CD, reliability, infrastructure automation and security. Like every Conf42 event, it is one day of pre-recorded talks that stream on YouTube at a set time and stay available on demand, free to watch. No talks had been announced when we checked, which is normal this far out, but the call for papers on cfp.ninja has been open since late August 2026 and runs until 21 October 2027, giving speakers a full year to prepare. Talks are in English and recorded remotely. A useful counterweight to KubeCon week for platform teams who cannot travel.
