About CLC 2026

CLC is a German conference on platform engineering, developer experience and software delivery, organized by the iX magazine team at Heise and the dpunkt.verlag publishing house. It began in 2013 as Continuous Lifecycle, gained the sister event ContainerConf in 2016, and now runs under the short name CLC. The 2026 edition is on 11 and 12 November at the Congress Center Rosengarten in Mannheim, a short walk from the main station, with a day of paid full-day workshops on 10 November covering zero-code observability, container security fundamentals and AI-native platforms with CNOE and MCP. It is aimed at senior developers, architects, DevOps and platform engineers, infrastructure and cloud engineers and team leads. The programme is chosen by an advisory board from a call for proposals that closed on 24 April 2026, and centres on roughly 45-minute talks with Q&A about platforms as products, developer experience, agentic AI in delivery, DevSecOps, containers and Kubernetes, infrastructure and operations, and observability and SRE; speakers come from companies such as SAP, Siemens, Vodafone, Carl Zeiss, JPMorgan, AWS and several German consultancies. Talks are a mix of German and English, and some sessions switch to English when non-German speakers are in the room. Tickets include an evening get-together and a sponsor exhibition.
