About CloudNative Days Winter 2026

CloudNative Days Winter is the main Tokyo meeting of Japan's volunteer-run CloudNative Days series, which grew out of Japan Container Days in 2018. The 2026 edition runs on 18 and 19 November at Ariake Central Tower Hall & Conference in Koto-ku, the same venue the Tokyo edition has used since 2022, and it is hybrid: sessions are given on site and streamed. The audience is mostly infrastructure engineers, SREs and application developers working in Japanese companies, and the programme leans on practitioner case studies; the 2025 edition covered Kubernetes operations, platform engineering, observability with OpenTelemetry, security, cloud migration and running AI workloads. Regular sessions are 30 minutes including questions, all speakers present in person, and talks are in Japanese with no interpretation advertised. A separate lightning-talk call with two five-minute themes, one for newcomers and one unstreamed slot for candid failure stories, closes on 27 October 2026, with places drawn by lottery. The main call for proposals ran from 31 August to 23 September. Attendance is free with advance registration, and recordings of past editions are posted on the session pages of cloudnativedays.jp.
