CloudNative Days Winter 2027

The 2027 edition has not been announced yet; these dates are expected, based on the series' usual mid-to-late November slot in Tokyo, and the venue is not confirmed. CloudNative Days Winter is the main Tokyo event of Japan's volunteer-run CloudNative Days series, which grew out of Japan Container Days in 2018 and has held a Tokyo conference every year since 2019, online in 2020 and 2021 and hybrid from 2022. Recent Tokyo editions have taken place at Ariake Central Tower Hall & Conference over two weekdays in November or December. The conference serves infrastructure engineers, SREs and application developers in Japan with two days of 30-minute practitioner talks on Kubernetes operations, platform engineering, observability, security and cloud migration, plus lightning talks and a student scholarship that pays travel costs for selected students to attend and give short talks. Talks are in Japanese and no interpretation has been offered. Recent editions have been free with advance registration, on site and online, and session videos remain on the event's own site. In 2026 the call for proposals ran from late August to late September, and speakers had to present in person. The series also runs regional events outside Tokyo; in May 2026 it co-hosted a joint conference in Nagoya with Platform Engineering Kaigi and SRE Kaigi.
