Platform Engineering Day North America 2026

Platform Engineering Day North America is a one-day CNCF event on Monday 9 November 2026 at the Salt Palace in Salt Lake City, the day before the main KubeCon + CloudNativeCon programme begins. It is aimed at the people who build and fund internal developer platforms: platform engineers, platform product managers and architects. The programme focuses on the practical problems of building and scaling a platform, with case studies, ways to measure and mature platform capabilities, and patterns for bringing AI assistants into platform workflows; the event page points readers to the CNCF Platforms white paper and Platform Engineering Maturity Model as background reading. The 2026 schedule starts at 9:00 and includes sessions on platform maturity and golden paths. There is no separate ticket: you need a KubeCon All-Access pass, which also opens the other ten CNCF-hosted co-located events that day, and seating is first come, first served. The co-located call for proposals took 25-minute talks, panels and 10-minute lightning talks and closed on 21 June. The event has run at every KubeCon since Paris in 2024.
