About CloudLand 2027
CloudLand calls itself the Cloud Native Festival: a three-day conference run by DOAG, the German Oracle user group association, and held inside a theme park. The 2027 edition, its sixth, runs from 31 May to 2 June at Heide Park Soltau in Lower Saxony, between Hamburg and Hannover, where the 2025 and 2026 editions also took place; the 2024 edition was at Phantasialand in Brühl. It is aimed at developers, architects, platform and DevOps engineers and IT leads from Germany, Austria and Switzerland, and covers cloud-native software engineering, architecture, DevOps, public cloud, and AI and ML. Formats are deliberately mixed: conference talks and experience reports, hands-on workshops, interactive sessions and a barcamp, plus a CloudCamp day on 31 May that is included in the higher-priced festival pass. Evenings are part of the programme, with a summer night with music and a gaming night in recent years, and rooms in the park's themed adventure hotel are sold alongside the tickets. The organizers counted around 330 participants in 2026. Super-saver tickets run until 31 October 2026. Session recordings are available to ticket holders through the event agenda, and to others only through a paid one-year on-demand ticket.
