About KCD Hangzhou 2026

KCD Hangzhou is the community-run Kubernetes Community Day for eastern China, organised by local volunteers under the CNCF's KCD program, which lists it as a returning Tier 1 event for late November 2026. The 2026 edition is a single Saturday, 28 November, at the Yungu Center in Hangzhou, under the theme "Cloud Native in the Age of Agents". The programme is built around running AI agents on Kubernetes, in three tracks: agent runtimes and infrastructure, covering sandboxing and governing MCP and agent-to-agent traffic through CNCF gateway projects; AI observability and reliability, centred on OpenTelemetry, chaos engineering and SRE practice for agent systems; and LLM serving, with vLLM and SGLang on Kubernetes, GPU scheduling and platform engineering for AI workloads. Sessions are 30-minute talks plus 10-minute lightning talks. The call for proposals ran from 15 August to 4 October 2026 and is closed. The call for proposals was written in Chinese with an English translation and the 2025 event page was in Chinese only, so most talks are likely to be in Mandarin; no interpretation is advertised. The 2025 edition was held jointly with OpenInfra Days China, and its talk videos were posted on Bilibili. Registration details and ticket prices for 2026 had not been published by mid-October.
