About DevOpsDays Zurich 2027
DevOpsDays Zurich is the Swiss member of the DevOpsDays family and, despite the name, takes place in Winterthur: the April 2027 meeting returns to the Alte Kaserne, a cultural centre about ten minutes on foot from Winterthur station and roughly 20 minutes by train from Zurich main station or the airport. It is run by the volunteer association DevOps Switzerland, and 2027 is the tenth in-person edition since the first in 2017. The conference is single-track and held in English, aimed at developers, operations staff, QA, security people and IT managers who care about culture and process as much as tooling. Each day mixes 25-minute talks with five minutes of Q&A, five-minute ignite talks, attendee-run open spaces and hands-on workshops in a separate classroom; the organizers' site sums up the format as two keynotes, eight talks, 14 ignites and six workshops. Attendance is capped at about 250, which keeps the open spaces conversational. The ticket covers both days, breakfast, lunch and refreshments, the evening event on 14 April and a T-shirt; 2027 prices had not been published by mid-October 2026. The call for proposals runs on Sessionize from 1 October to 31 December 2026, with up to two submissions per person. Talks from past editions are on the organizers' Vimeo channel.
