About DevOpsDays Geneva 2027
DevOpsDays Geneva is the French-speaking Swiss edition of DevOpsDays, and the May 2027 meeting will be its eighth. It is held at the Geneva School of Management (HEG) on the Campus de Battelle in Carouge, just south of Geneva's city centre, the venue also used in 2025 and 2026. The audience is developers, operations and security engineers and IT managers from the Lake Geneva region. The two days follow the DevOpsDays pattern: 30-minute talks in the morning, a block of five-minute ignites after lunch, then attendee-run open spaces, with a hands-on workshop or two alongside. Talks are given in both French and English, and recent programmes covered AI in DevOps teams, running thousands of Kubernetes deployments from one pipeline, open-source governance at a private bank, security fatigue and keeping calm during incidents. The 2027 theme is "Stop predicting, start shaping the future of our work". The call for papers opened on 10 September 2026 and closes on 7 February 2027, with selections announced on 17 February; the organizers want no commercial content and will not accept vendor pitches, although vendor employees may submit. Tickets are sold through the DevOpsDays pretix shop, which in 2026 noted that sponsors had helped bring prices down; 2027 prices had not been published by mid-October 2026.
