About DevOpsDays Tokyo 2027
DevOpsDays Tokyo is Japan's edition of the DevOpsDays series, run by a volunteer executive committee, and the city has hosted it since 2012. The 2027 conference is set for Tuesday and Wednesday, 13 and 14 April, at Osaki Bright Core Hall in Shinagawa, the venue used in 2024 and 2026, and like recent editions it is hybrid: attendees pick an in-person ticket or an online one that follows the sessions over Zoom, with discussion on Discord. The programme covers software delivery and IT operations with an emphasis on automation, testing, security and organizational culture, mixing case studies from Japanese companies with talks from invited overseas speakers. Sessions run in Japanese and English, and the English talks get simultaneous interpretation, so the event works for attendees who do not speak Japanese as well as for local engineers. The 2026 edition reported 220 participants, 38 sessions and 48 speakers over three days, which keeps it small enough for real hallway conversations. Ticket sales and the call for speakers for 2027 were both marked as in preparation in mid-October 2026; for reference, the 2026 call ran from November 2025 to March 2026, and the 2026 online-only ticket cost JPY 15,000 including consumption tax, sold through pretix.
