DevOpsDays Salvador 2026

DevOpsDays Salvador brings the global DevOpsDays format to Bahia on Saturday 5 December 2026, in the auditorium of the Universidade Católica do Salvador (UCSAL) campus in Pituaçu, the same venue as the December 2025 edition. The local series dates back to 2017 and has run most years since, so it has a settled audience of developers, infrastructure people, SREs and students from across the state. The 2026 call for papers closed on 17 September and favoured short formats: 15-minute talks that get to the point, five-minute Ignite talks with auto-advancing slides, and open space discussions that anyone can start on the day without submitting in advance. The organisers ask vendors who want to show a product to do it from a sponsor table instead of the stage, which keeps the talks about practice rather than pitches. The programme is in Portuguese and spans software delivery, infrastructure operations and the overlap between them. A sensible choice if you are in the Northeast of Brazil and want a full day of practical DevOps conversation without flying to São Paulo, and a friendly room for first-time speakers.
