About Conf42 Feature Flags 2027
Conf42 Feature Flags 2027 is a free online conference on Thursday 24 June 2027 about the release side of continuous delivery: feature flags, progressive rollouts and runtime configuration. It is the second edition; the first, on 15 October 2026, scheduled 16 talks grouped into kill switches and safety, flags for AI agents and models, migrations and modernisation, reliability and self-healing systems, progressive rollouts and canaries, and configuration and runtime control, with speakers from Adobe, Amazon, Bank of America, Capital One, Confluent, Harness, Microsoft, PayPal and Walmart. That makes it a narrow but practical event for release engineers and SREs who want to decouple deploys from releases, contain the blast radius of a bad change, and keep years of flags from turning into technical debt. Like the rest of the Conf42 series it is a single day of pre-recorded talks that stream on YouTube at a set time and remain on demand, with no ticket price. The call for papers on cfp.ninja is open until 27 May 2027, and speakers present remotely in English. A short, focused watch for teams adopting progressive delivery.
