About Conf42 DevSecOps 2027
Conf42 DevSecOps 2027 is a free online conference on Thursday 18 March 2027. The DevSecOps theme has run in the Conf42 series since 2021, usually at the end of the year; the most recent edition was on 1 October 2026 and the next one moves to March. As with every Conf42 event, talks are pre-recorded, stream on YouTube at a set time on the day and remain available on demand. The 2026 edition had 23 talks covering AI security, compliance and privacy, secrets and identity management, cloud and Kubernetes security, shift-left and secure pipelines, threat detection and response, software supply chain security and application security, with speakers from AWS, Microsoft, Dell Technologies, SAP, Tesla, T-Mobile, SiriusXM and several security vendors. That spread makes it a reasonable survey of where security work meets delivery pipelines, from SBOMs and signing to policy as code. The call for papers on cfp.ninja is open until 18 February 2027 and favours practical experience over product pitches. Attendance is free and talks are in English. A sensible pick for platform engineers who have inherited security responsibilities and want concrete patterns rather than vendor marketing.
