About WeAreDevelopers World Congress 2027

WeAreDevelopers World Congress is a large commercial developer festival rather than a DevOps conference, but it earns a place here because two of its eight advertised programme themes are written for platform, DevOps and SRE people. 'Platforms, pipelines and developer experience' covers internal developer platforms run as products, golden paths, CI/CD that does not flake, self-service infrastructure and build performance; 'Cloud, scale and reliability' covers capacity planning, multi-region deployment, observability, SLOs, incident response and on-call, including running GPU and model workloads next to classic services. A separate security theme takes in supply-chain security and secrets management. The rest of the programme leans heavily on AI-assisted coding, agentic systems, languages, data and engineering leadership. The 2027 edition runs from 14 to 16 July at Messe Berlin and the CityCube, with the stages and the expo on 15 and 16 July and workshops, masterclasses and side activities around them. The organizers advertise more than 15,000 attendees, 500 speakers and 20 stages, so expect a trade-fair scale and many parallel sessions. Passes are sold on a rising price ladder; the basic Congress Pass includes all stages, the expo, the after-party and on-demand recordings. In mid-October 2026 the call-for-speakers page still linked to the 2026 Sessionize call, so a 2027 call has not been published.
