VMware Explore 2027

VMware Explore is Broadcom's yearly conference for VMware customers and the infrastructure and platform teams who run private cloud. For 2027 it moves from its late-summer slot to 3 to 6 May and from The Venetian to Resorts World Las Vegas, which Broadcom says means shorter walks between rooms. Broadcom's own recap counted more than 4,700 attendees and over 400 sessions at the 2026 edition. The centre of gravity is VMware Cloud Foundation and private AI, but there is a real Kubernetes programme: in 2026 VMware promoted more than 50 sessions on its vSphere Kubernetes Service, container and VM services, including CI/CD, GitOps and multi-cluster security topics. Content ran in four tracks covering cloud infrastructure, application modernisation, security and innovation, alongside breakouts, expert roundtables, self-paced and instructor-led hands-on labs, a lab tournament and on-site certification exams. The call for proposals opens on 3 November 2026 and registration on 12 January 2027; 2027 prices have not been published. Breakout recordings went into the Explore video library within about a day in 2026. Most useful for teams running vSphere or VCF who are deciding how Kubernetes fits into that estate.
