Splunk .conf27

.conf is Splunk's yearly user conference, now run under Cisco, and .conf27 moves to McCormick Place in Chicago from 4 to 7 October 2027 after Denver in 2026 and Boston in 2025. Be clear about what you are getting: a large share of the programme is for security operations teams, covering SIEM, SOC automation and AI-assisted investigation, while the parts most relevant to DevOps and SRE readers are the observability and IT operations sessions on application performance monitoring, infrastructure monitoring and observability for AI systems. Splunk University bootcamps run in the days before the conference in one-, two- or three-day formats, and an on-site testing centre offers heavily discounted certification exams to badge holders; Splunk exams were $25 at .conf26. Passes can be paid with Splunk training units as well as cash, which is handy for teams with a training budget. Keynotes are streamed worldwide with replays afterwards, and breakout recordings are published on demand. Registration and prices for .conf27 had not opened when we checked, and there was no call for speakers yet. Most useful for teams that already run Splunk or Splunk Observability Cloud and want training and certification in the same trip.
