About GOPS Global Ops Summit Shanghai 2027
The 2027 edition has not been announced yet; these dates are expected, based on the series' usual mid-October Friday-Saturday slot in Shanghai. GOPS (全球运维大会, Global Ops Summit) is a long-running Chinese operations conference founded by the GreatOPS community in 2015 and held three times a year, in Shenzhen, Beijing and Shanghai. The Shanghai stop closes each year's cycle and is aimed at operations, SRE and DevOps engineers and their managers in the Yangtze River Delta, with speakers from cloud providers, telecom operators, banks and internet companies. The October 2026 edition, the 30th GOPS overall, ran at the Longemont Hotel in Changning under an AI-agent theme, with sessions on full-stack stability for AI workloads, LLM-assisted reliability work at a telecom operator, forward-deployed engineering teams and AI observability. It was preceded by a paid two-day certification course for AI operations engineers, sold as an add-on. The 2025 and 2026 editions used the same hotel, but no 2027 venue has been named. Talks are in Mandarin Chinese with no interpretation advertised. Tickets are sold on Bagevent, with single-day passes available, and speakers apply through a form on the event page once a new edition opens.
