About QCon AI Boston 2027

QCon AI Boston is a two-day conference on running AI in production from C4Media, the company behind InfoQ and QCon, held on 8 and 9 July 2027 at Boston University's George Sherman Union on Commonwealth Avenue. It succeeds the InfoQ Dev Summit Boston, which used the same campus venue, and its first edition under the QCon AI name ran in June 2026; the organiser's media kit put that edition at 350 to 500 people. The programme is built around practitioners sharing the trade-offs and results of putting AI systems into production, and the organisers suggest teams spanning architecture, platform, security, ML and leadership attend together, which tells you the level: this is for people building and operating systems, not for prompt tips. For DevOps and platform readers the relevant threads are model serving and inference infrastructure, the cost of running AI workloads, evaluation and guardrails, and how AI-assisted development changes delivery pipelines. Speakers are invited by a programme committee; there is no open call. Early-bird tickets are $995 until 10 November 2026, then $1,095, with group discounts that grow with team size. A compact, campus-based option on the East Coast for teams that cannot spend a week away.
