About Nerdearla México 2026
Nerdearla México is the Mexico City edition of Nerdearla, the free tech conference that grew out of Sysarmy, Argentina's sysadmin community, and now runs editions in Buenos Aires, Santiago, Mexico City and Madrid. The 2026 Mexico edition runs from 18 to 21 November at ExpoReforma in central Mexico City, with everything also streamed live. It is a broad festival rather than a DevOps conference: content spans infrastructure, development, data, security, open source, UX and management, and the infrastructure and security tracks are where the DevOps, SRE and cloud material sits. That said, the sysadmin roots show, and the announced speakers include DevOps pioneer John Willis, a frontend observability engineer from Honeycomb and the project lead of NTP. Attendance is free, in person or online, with registration required, and the organisers insist on no paid tiers, VIP rooms or paid workshops. The programme is in Spanish, with some international speakers in English, and talks are published on Nerdearla's YouTube channel. Official pages have shown slightly different date ranges, so confirm the days you need before travelling. Go for the community energy and the price, and plan your own route through the infrastructure sessions.
