About Nerdearla Chile 2027
Nerdearla Chile returns to the Centro Gabriela Mistral (GAM) cultural centre in central Santiago from 14 to 16 April 2027, its fourth Chilean edition. Nerdearla is the free tech conference series produced by Sysarmy, the Argentine sysadmin community, and the Santiago edition has grown fast: the official site thanks 2,400 people who came to GAM and 10,000 who registered online in 2026. In 2026 the first day was online talks and workshops and the last two days were in person, with everything streamed; the 2027 split has not been published. Like its sister editions it is a broad festival covering infrastructure and sysadmin work, development, data, security and open source, so DevOps and SRE practitioners will find relevant sessions in the infrastructure and security tracks rather than a dedicated DevOps programme. The content is in Spanish, aimed at Chile and the wider region, with some international guests. Attendance is free with registration, and there are no paid passes or exclusive rooms. The 2027 call for papers had not been announced when we checked, and 2026 talks can be watched on Nerdearla's YouTube channel. A good free option for engineers in Chile who want a few days of community talks without a ticket budget.
