Microsoft Ignite 2026

San Francisco, United States + online · Moscone Center (opening keynote at Chase Center)

About Microsoft Ignite 2026

Microsoft Ignite is Microsoft's main yearly conference for IT professionals, developers, architects and partners, covering Azure, AI, security and data across the Microsoft stack. The 2026 edition runs from 17 to 20 November at Moscone Center in San Francisco, with the opening keynote across town at Chase Center and an optional pre-day of deeper sessions on 16 November. Session types range from foundational to expert breakouts with live code, through small-group hands-on labs and demos, to table talks and 15-minute lightning talks in theatres on the show floor. Three passes are on offer: a free digital pass with the livestreamed keynote and sessions, a $1,625 Hub pass limited to the expo hub and its theatre sessions, and the $2,325 Full Conference pass with breakouts, labs and meals; the pre-day is a $325 add-on. Microsoft says most sessions are recorded and posted to their session pages within a day or two, although sessions marked as San Francisco only and the lightning talks are not. There is no public call for speakers. In-person registration closes on 13 November. A sensible choice for teams that run on Azure and want to see the platform roadmap, or for anyone happy to follow along online for free.
