About fwd:cloudsec Europe 2027

fwd:cloudsec Europe 2027 is expected in early September 2027, but the organizers had not announced the dates or the host city when we checked, so the dates shown are the 2026 edition moved forward 52 weeks to the same weekdays, and are unconfirmed. The European edition of the non-profit cloud security conference has changed country every year: a single day at the nhow Brussels Bloom in 2024, two days in Berlin in 2025, and two days at the Park Plaza Victoria in London in 2026, its third outing. Like the North American original, it is run by volunteer practitioners and keeps to talks that would not fit a vendor event: research on attacking and defending AWS, Azure, Google Cloud and Kubernetes, identity and detection lessons from large estates, and securing AI workloads. The European programme adds its own angle, with room for digital sovereignty, EU rules such as NIS2, DORA and the AI Act, and experience with European providers like STACKIT, Scaleway and UpCloud. Most talks are 20 minutes, a few run to 40, everything is in English, and the committee says it reads every submission in full, with early feedback for first-time speakers. Sales pitches and introductory material are turned away. Both 2026 days were livestreamed, recordings go to the fwd:cloudsec YouTube channel, and tickets have been released in batches.
