About DevOpsDays Barcelona 2026

DevOpsDays Barcelona comes back in November 2026 after a gap of more than a decade: the city last hosted the volunteer-run conference in October 2013. It is aimed at developers, platform and operations engineers, SREs and engineering leads in Catalonia and the wider Spanish tech scene. Friday afternoon is given over to hands-on workshops in three rooms, two in English and one in Spanish, on subjects such as choosing autoscaling metrics, OpenTelemetry instrumentation and running LLM workloads on Kubernetes. Saturday is the main conference day, with three parallel tracks (two English, one Spanish) of 30-minute talks on platform engineering, GitOps, observability, incident response, data infrastructure and engineer well-being, a block of five-minute ignite talks before lunch, and an afternoon of attendee-proposed open-space sessions. The venue is BAU, a design college housed in a converted textile warehouse in the Poblenou 22@ district. Tickets are sold through the DevOpsDays pretix shop with Spanish VAT included: the two-day pass with workshops (EUR 145.20) had sold out by mid-October, leaving Saturday-only tickets at EUR 96.80. The call for proposals ran from April to mid-June 2026 and the programme is published; the organizers state they will not accept talks that read as product pitches.
