Alex Yochev (Cloud Solution Architect, Microsoft) gave the talk “Hands-on with Azure DevOps Services” at DevOps Stage 2020, held online on 9 October 2020.
Alex had taken various technical and management roles developing software solutions for both small and global organizations. With over 15 years of software development experience, Alex boasts an interesting resume that has had him work at Cisco Systems and IBM.
Alex has joined Microsoft as Senior Technical Evangelist to assists the community and partners focused on open source software running on Azure. His professional interests are related to DevOps, Large scale Web Applications, IoT and Serverless.
Currently he is a Cloud Solution Architect operating mainly in Central and Eastern Europe working with Start-Ups, Independent Software Vendors and System Integrators in building new solutions.
As engineers, software companies and business we all strive to deliver more value to our end users as fast as we can. We adopt DevOps to address this need but it’s important to have the right tools to help us be effective.
Let’s do a hands-on with Azure DevOps Services to see how we can plan, track, build and deliver value. We will review Azure Boards, Azure Repos and build CI/CD using Azure Pipelines.
