SREday Katowice 2027 Q2

SREday Katowice is a new one-day reliability engineering conference in Silesia, set for Wednesday 9 June 2027 at the Vienna House Easy by Wyndham hotel on Sokolska Street in central Katowice. It is the first Katowice date of SREday, the series of small community conferences that the Conf42 team runs across Europe, the Americas and India, and the third Polish stop after the two Warsaw editions in October 2026 and February 2027. It suits SREs, platform and DevOps engineers and on-call developers in southern Poland and the neighbouring regions. The organizers plan two parallel tracks; based on other SREday editions, expect talks of about 30 minutes on SRE practice, observability, incident management, chaos engineering, automation, performance and AI agents in operations, with a few sponsor keynotes. Only one speaker had been announced by mid-October 2026. Registration is free on Luma. The call for proposals on cfp.ninja runs from August 2026 to 9 March 2027, with in-person talks only and no travel, hotel or fee support for speakers. Sessions from previous SREday events are published on the series' YouTube channel, with a playlist per city.
