Microsoft Build 2027

Microsoft Build 2027 is expected in early June 2027, but Microsoft had not announced the dates or the host city when we checked, so the dates shown are the 2026 edition moved forward 52 weeks to the same weekdays, and are unconfirmed. Build is Microsoft's yearly developer conference. After nearly a decade in Seattle, the 2026 edition moved to the Fort Mason Center in San Francisco, was shortened to two days and deliberately used a much smaller venue, so in-person places were limited and sold out. The 2026 programme centred on AI agents and developer tooling: GitHub Copilot and agent workflows, Microsoft Foundry, VS Code, Windows as a place to run agents locally, and Azure services. The keynote and selected sessions were streamed free, and the on-demand sessions stay on the Build site. For budgeting, the 2026 in-person ticket was $1,099. Build used to run in May; with the 2026 move to June and to a smaller venue, the 2027 timing, city and size are all open questions until Microsoft announces them, and the official site offers sign-up for news of the next registration.
