IBM TechXchange 2027

IBM TechXchange 2027 is expected in late October 2027, but IBM had not announced the dates or the host city when we checked, so the dates shown are the 2026 edition moved forward 52 weeks to the same weekdays, and are unconfirmed. The conference moves around the United States: it started at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas in 2023, stayed in Las Vegas at Mandalay Bay in 2024, then went to Orlando in 2025 and to the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta in 2026. It is IBM's hands-on technical conference for developers, engineers and administrators, covering AI, data management, hybrid cloud, infrastructure, and security and governance. Since 2026, HashiConf, HashiCorp's own conference, has been folded into TechXchange instead of running on its own: a HashiConf pass is a full TechXchange pass, with more than 100 sessions and labs on Terraform, Vault and the rest of the HashiCorp tools across two tracks, hybrid cloud management and security and governance. IDUG North America and the COMMON user group are co-located too. The week opens with a pre-conference day of labs, certification exams and user group meetups, followed by three days of breakouts, demos, labs and an expo. IBM counted more than 7,900 attendees in 2025. For reference, the 2026 full pass was USD 1,599, and government and education attendees paid USD 799.
