DevOpsCon San Diego 2027

DevOpsCon San Diego is the West Coast edition of the DevOpsCon series run by Software & Support Media, the German publisher that also holds editions in Berlin, Munich, London, Amsterdam and New York. The 2027 edition runs from 24 to 28 May, with the expo on 25 and 26 May, and can be attended on site or remotely through a livestream with live Q&A. Recent editions used the Hyatt Regency La Jolla at Aventine, though the 2027 venue had not been restated when we checked. The week mixes workshop days, two main conference days and two-day bootcamps on Kubernetes, platform engineering and AI-assisted coding, plus a Platform Engineering Summit and an AI platform engineering day. Tracks at the last edition covered observability and reliability, DevSecOps, cloud platforms and infrastructure, Kubernetes and cloud native, CI/CD automation and delivery, and leadership and organisation. Passes are sold by the number of days; for reference, 2026 list prices ran from $799 for a single day to $2,899 for full access, with 10% off for groups of three or more, and multi-day passes included six months of recordings. 2027 tickets, speakers and the call for papers had not been announced. A practical training-heavy week for teams who want workshops as well as talks.
