Cloud Day 2026

Cloud Day is a one-day, cloud-only conference in Milan run by Improove, the events brand of the Italian company Managed Designs. The 2026 meeting on 18 November at Talent Garden Calabiana is the eighth edition of a series that started in 2017 and has met in Milan every November since at least 2024. It is aimed at people who design, run and govern cloud platforms: platform and cloud engineers, architects, engineering leads and CTOs, rather than a general developer crowd. The organisers describe it as vertical and vendor-neutral, although speakers from the big cloud providers do appear on stage next to independent engineers. The 2026 programme has three tracks and 24 talks, with three themes singled out: cloud sovereignty and data residency, running AI workloads inside existing cloud platforms (cost, security and operations), and production case studies with incidents and lessons learned. Most sessions are in Italian, some in English, without translation. A pass costs EUR 69 until 8 November and EUR 99 after, with a group pack for five; Italian companies can cover the cost through interprofessional training funds. Sessions are recorded and made available to pass holders on the Improove Play video platform. Worth a day for Italian-speaking cloud and platform teams.
